Mercy Cycles ~ A 2020 Blessing #3

 Giver and Ruler – I invite you to step forward to listen deep in your spirit to your portion’s blessing.

 In the community of your human spirit, I bless you portion by portion with the gifts of your Father’s Name:

GIVER

Jehovah-Rohi – your Father’s Name embodied in His Person: The Lord is my Shepherd. Giver, what precious association is yours to cherish in this Name. In the community of the human spirit, the Father’s nature of Provider and Healer is powerful. His Standard held high and His essence of Peace within the community is invaluable. The Great Shepherd is your companion, who will never leave, forsake, nor lose His own. Giver, everything in your design and redemptive outflow hinges on this relationship with your Father, the Shepherd.

Giver, you are a study in contrasts – strong in flexibility, adaptability, and diversity – while independent and one who stands alone. 2020 has produced, spirit, a wrestling mat upon which your strengths and weaknesses have engaged. Giver, your soul has at times hijacked the redemptive expression of your independent spirit to fight against the God-given authority you are designed to walk in – to bless generationally and to affirm God’s design. The Great Shepherd works on your behalf, Giver, the very authority He has designed your portion to steward well – to detect, bring forth, protect, and nurture new birth.

Giver portion, I bless you with learning to receive from your Father, the Shepherd in every way you desire to give out. At times, you may stand alone as part of His purposed plan and will, but never independent from His fathering. Possessing your birthright comes in responsiveness to His holiness and living as His intimate.

God’s Steward

Stewardship is your Wisdom principle, Giver, whose fruitful benefit is not learned or grown in isolation. I bless you, Giver portion, with the strengths in relationship the other six portions have to offer within the community. I bless you, Giver, with growing in wisdom where your strengths are concerned. May humanity’s favor rest on you, Giver, so that you may grow in maturity that comes from your Father, the Shepherd sourcing and resourcing each redemptive facet of your design. The manner and care with which the Shepherd watches over you, Giver, is an excellence of His Person that He has fashioned you to reflect.

Giver, I bless you with learning to live and give even more freely in 2021 as the faithful steward of God’s life-giving blessings. You do not walk alone. The Lord is your Shepherd. The Eternal GIVER of good and perfect gifts.¹

Ruler

Jehovah-Tsidkenu – your Father’s Name by which He shall be called, and called by you: The Lord is my Righteousness. Embedded in this Name is the just heart of the One who brings freedom and punishes exploitation. Herein lies the conjunction of your Wisdom principle of freedom, Ruler, and the battlefield associated with your redemptive gift. 2020 is proof that humanity’s agenda is a futile substitute for the Lord God’s agenda. I bless you, Ruler, with growing in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding that it is the Lord’s righteousness enthroned in your spirit that brings about true freedom.

The Lord is my Righteousness is mentioned but twice in God’s Word, first named in Jeremiah 23:6. Ruler, it is in the context of stunning rebuke that the Father declares He will Himself raise up a righteous Branch, Christ the Lord. The prophet Jeremiah’s own heart burned with the word of the Lord to shepherds destroying and scattering the sheep of His pastures. God’s word is living and active, a present Word for our day. I bless you with welcome recognition that it is by God’s design, Ruler, that you stand shoulder to shoulder with Giver in the community of the human spirit. So too Mercy, who by design stands alongside to urge you to seek God’s mercy over judgment.

The Righteous Government

I bless you, Ruler portion, with growing intensity and desire for Christ’s government to fully rule in your soul. For you, Ruler, carry God’s authority given to you for generational blessings that bring His freedom to bear. In every way you have decried the unjust rulers and exploitive shepherds over the Lord’s precious flock, I bless you, Ruler, with the same burning holy fire that is in the heart of your God of Justice. The Lord is my Righteousness.

Though you may view yourself, Ruler portion, or be seen by others as one who establishes organizations and puts people in order, to rule over, I bless you with Holy Spirit’s discernment as to your true birthright. No earthly endeavor alone, Ruler, will cause you to possess what is yours according to the Lord God’s design of you. Your true birthright, Ruler portion, is to release spiritual generational blessings both physically and spiritually by honoring the Lord’s agenda, not man’s. I bless you with wisdom and discernment, time and strength to establish generational blessings for your family and ministry that will outlast your lifetime. There is no greater legacy to leave in your wake than as a Ruler of integrity who intimately and mercifully knows The Lord is my Righteousness.

As you celebrate Christmas and the birth of our Savior, I pray your heart is stirred with a fresh revelation of the life of Jesus. He embodied in his flesh all the fullness of the sevenfold Spirit of God mightily at work within Him:

As Jesus grew, so did his wisdom and maturity.
The favor of men increased upon his life, for he was loved greatly by God.

Beloved believer, I bless you with Heaven’s knowledge that this same Spirit lives in you who was with Jesus in life, in death, and in resurrection life. Now the sanctuary of precious Holy Spirit, He is mightily at work in you today.

The only gift worthy to offer the One who gave everything, including His very life, is all of yours. I bless you to grow as Jesus did: in years, wisdom, maturity, favor, and knowledge of how deeply Father Shepherd loves you.

The first cycle was completed at the end of 2006; the second cycle, the end of 2013. To you, dear reader, I say consider the pattern. What was significant in your life 2000-2006, culminating in the Mercy year 2006? 2007 through Mercy year 2013? 2014-2020? I highly recommend some devotional contemplation of these Mercy cycles. Our heavenly Father is a God of Justice and matchless Mercy. To engage in this as nurture for your spirit and encouragement to your soul is to bear witness to the reality of this precious gift of grace.
