Exhausted, it is Winter’s time to rest.
Spring tiptoes in sprinkling raindrops and sunshine
with equal amounts of abandon,
coaxing flora awake from her beauty sleep –Rubbing soil’s slumber from her eyes,
flora stretches like a cat in the warmth of the sun –
with final big yawn and rootlets finding her lady slippers,
she emerges with freshness gifted by Winter’s long napWho knew she grew?
Nature’s best-kept secret quietly giggling with its Creator –
Surprise!
As she lay sleeping … Winter did its thing.
But so did she.Isn’t she lovely?
