The pattern of seven is a consistent, shining thread that runs throughout the whole of Elohyim’s Divine Design. Consequently, it is not surprising that the pieces of The Armor of God recounted in Ephesians 6 relate to the seven portions of our human spirit.
As I shared in The Armor of God – Intro, the Pattern of Seven is based on the truth that Jesus Christ embodies the fullness of the image of God. As much as I delight in and am dedicated to our growth and development in knowing who we are, all that knowledge will not be living substance to us and for others unless and until we know to Whom we belong. Not head knowledge, but a God-persuaded heart.
Before moving into the Pattern of Seven – The Armor of God ~ Part 2 – this is Christ, to Whom we belong:
Colossians 1:15-23 Living Bible (TLB)
15 Christ is the exact likeness of the unseen God. He existed before God made anything at all, and, in fact, 16 Christ himself is the Creator who made everything in heaven and earth, the things we can see and the things we can’t; the spirit world with its kings and kingdoms, its rulers and authorities; all were made by Christ for his own use and glory. 17 He was before all else began and it is his power that holds everything together. 18 He is the Head of the body made up of his people—that is, his Church—which he began; and he is the Leader of all those who arise from the dead, so that he is first in everything; 19 for God wanted all of himself to be in his Son.
20 It was through what his Son did that God cleared a path for everything to come to him—all things in heaven and on earth—for Christ’s death on the cross has made peace with God for all by his blood. 21 This includes you who were once so far away from God. You were his enemies and hated him and were separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions, yet now he has brought you back as his friends.
22 He has done this through the death on the cross of his own human body, and now as a result Christ has brought you into the very presence of God, and you are standing there before him with nothing left against you—nothing left that he could even chide you for; 23 the only condition is that you fully believe the Truth, standing in it steadfast and firm, strong in the Lord, convinced of the Good News that Jesus died for you, and never shifting from trusting him to save you. This is the wonderful news that came to each of you and is now spreading all over the world. And I, Paul, have the joy of telling it to others. ∞
A Chart is Worth a Thousand Words
The following chart lists three of the primary facets of any pattern of seven discovered in the Word of God. In the community of the human spirit, the Redemptive Gift and Wisdom Principle are the foundation. The third primary facet, such as The Armor of God related here, will vary according to the pattern of seven revealed through teaching, your own study of the Word, and illuminated by Holy Spirit.

The Unfolding of The Armor of God
The unfolding of The Armor of God through the lens of the Redemptive Gifts is not a light undertaking. Considering that preparedness to stand by God’s standards is a thorough work in spirit, soul, and body – my aim is to steward well what Holy Spirit has made known to me as first partaker and for you as well.
As this website continues to be added to, I have had a great sense the past few years of the perfect timing of God. Yes, it will be on a worldwide scale affecting multitudes of people. Yet it is also for every person who desires in heart and mind to respond to Christ, Head and Leader more steadfastly now.
Therein is where our preparedness and protection lie. Not by (our) might, not by (the world’s) power, but by His (Sevenfold) Spirit – as the Lord has said. All more reason to unpack each redemptive gift – the seven portions of our human spirit – in forthcoming articles of Pattern of Seven – The Armor of God.
I encourage you to stay awhile with what has already been provided. Make use of the website articles and tools; one of which is the PDF checklist of characteristics for each redemptive gift, conveniently linked to the corresponding-colored title in the chart. If you haven’t already, I suggest starting a binder. In grace and peace,
~ Nancy
